I’m a 🇵🇷 Puerto Rican bench scientist, educator and Frugal DIY Maker.
As a scientist, I focus in cell and tissue culture, helping institutions, scientists and companies build the R&D/Operational infrastructure and experiments to establish products and cell culture-based services. My most recent work has been as a dual bench scientist and operations support within GLP/GMP/Clinical environments.
As an educator, I assist organizations to design curricula and content for their own workforce scientific trainings, classes or science outreach.
As a DIY Frugal Biology Maker, I design accurate and frugal hands-on activities that make science accessible in classrooms and science centers. I am a 2020 alumna of the Frugal Science cohort led by Dr. Manu Prakash and follow that ethos of making science tools as accessible to as many people as possible.
Scroll down to explore some of my work, the projects I’ve been part of, and how I could assist you in your science communication efforts.
